The fight for Rights

In Islamic States like Pakistan, women are usually not encouraged by the society to play sports, but since the last decade a certain change has been observed in Pakistan with the number of women athletes increasing mostly due to awareness through media and education. When Saudi Arabia produced their first female Olympians for the 2012 Olympics, this fight reached another level where rays of hope can be seen for women to gain proper social status in the Islamic Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian societies.
