Today, in honor of Ghana’s 55th Independence Day, I encourage you to think about what “independence” means to you. When is Yemen’s Independence Day? How do you celebrate? What effect has independence had on your country, if any? Let us know in the new discussion going on, titled “Independence Days Around the World”!

Can you write a poem about Yemen in less than 140 characters? For World Poetry Day, we posted a new discussion challenging you to write a short poem about your country or exchange program. Please participate if you can!

I am in "cybernetic relation" with an association and they need our urgent help for more than 75.000 children within a population of 1.5 million mix Ethiopian-Yemenite. They have now to change all the time internet cafe because they do not have a laptop... and not enough money to rent an office to secure the association.

Is someone can indicate to me whom to ask for helping them? A budget, complete explanation of the situation may be given. Identity of the person seems to be genuine, and the responsible of this association sent me details of what happen every day even before Al-Jazeera!

Thank you very much for your kind attention and reply.

Laurence
