We had so much fun! and that can be seen from the pictures.

For Thanksgiving we plan to have an alumni meeting where every alumni attending will write "thank you" letters to their host families and local coordinators. :)

Best,

Ivan

hi Ivan!! That's really great that you guys are doing this! :)

Hi!

I am an exchange student from Pakistan. This was my first time at Halloween. I really enjoyed. I dressed up as Mr. Monopoly. I was appreciated for my costume a lot at my school and even outside when i went for trick-or-treat with my younger brother. I was happy because my costume made others happy.

I am looking forward for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hope to enjoy them to the fullest.

Regards.

Hi Kamran!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed your Halloween! And nice costume!! :)
You'll love thankgiving and christmas:)

Well, this year:

- I didn't celebrate Halloween (it's not a major celebration over here).

- I didn't celebrate Thanksgiving (same thing, but it was awesome in the US).

- I am looking forward to Christmas.

:)

Hi!

Thanksgiving was a nice part too. That became more fun when my host family relatives came to visit us. I found a lot of similarities. All that family gathering, spending some joyous moments together and having feasts are all those some of the similarities. I ate the turkey for the first time. The big roasted turkey was delicious. We had five different pie(apple, banana, pumpkin, chocolate, blueberry). After all spending time together was really the most enjoyable part. As that was my first thanksgiving so i would like to sum up by saying one should try to find most of the similarities rather than differences being specially a foreign exchange student to chill.

Best Wishes.
