This is the best resource I could find if you are NOT an American citizen, but you would like to study in the United States. This includes high school level students, undergraduate students, graduate students, and professionals:

thaaanx alexa i`ll follow that :D

If you're thinking about whether or not to apply to an exchange program, or want to know the advantages/disadvantages of applying to a study abroad program v. just applying to schools on your own, take a look at this advice from students who have been through it: http://blogs.voanews.com/student-union/2010/10/26/advice-study-abro...
Is it possible for me to study abroad in the U.S? If yes, what and what should i need to do? Because education in the U.S is expensive and my parents are not financially strong so i don't know if there will be any help for me??
Thanks

Hi Modou,

We have a great network of EducationUSA advisors around the world who can help you with specific questions about study abroad and scholarships. I do recommend that you visit your local center in the Gambia: http://www.educationusa.info/educational-system-of-the-gambia.html

If you're looking for the average American high school public education (or maybe even private schooling) my family and I are hosting a Lebanese student for 10 months (school year) through the organization, Ayusa. I'm not positive if this is similar to other exchange/hosting programs; we were able to select a student from a list of students whose Profiles were displayed online. There were background checks and the usual, but the process, I felt, really ensured she would be the best fit for our family.

Also, she's a part of the YES program (which she applied to at the same time as Ayusa) so I am pretty sure everything- her travel, tuition, participation in Ayusa alumni activities, day-trips here- was free.

Hello to all.My name is Mala,a Cambodian student.I really want to study in America, because it is my dream tland since I was young and I dry every day to be there.I hope I will get a schoolarship to America about engineer one day.How could I get this?

Hi Mala! I know some Cambodian students who studied with me in summer for two months, if you want to get any scholarship you should follow what kind of Scholarships available for you on the official site of U.S. Embassy in Cambodia! This is more detailed source to find scholarship! And my advise is, it's time to act, don't think about past anymore, just do it! Be active!

Be first, be smart or cheat!!!

http://www.ef.com/us-home offers a lot of programs. It can be a little expensive, though, depending on how long you want to go.

American exchange programs are great.I have never thought i can live without my family even for a week but here i am 9 weeks of no father or mother.........am going to spend a whole year in the United states with my American host family. My first shock was American food because it was totaly different from mine.I have made thousand of friends from so many countries through my exchange program Kennedy Lugar youth exchange and study program.
