Great question, Azeezat! So difficult to answer. At first, I think manti. But then, what about imam bayildi? Or su boregi? And something as simple, cool, refreshing as cacik? I'd love to bring them ALL, please! :)

If I had to name one of my favorite things about Turkey, it would definitely be the food. What are your favorite recipes? If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and could only bring one (Turkish) food what would you bring? (I would take lahmacun, without a doubt). Contribute to the food thread! http://connect.state.gov/group/turkey/forum/topics/food-recipes-in-...
