Hey everyone - so many questions!  Have you tried reading through any of the other discussions here on the SWT group to see if they can help you?  I would also check out j1visa.state.gov because there is so much information on j1 visa programs, the application process, and jobs right there on that site.  iojehomon, shandana, sheikh abu taleb, johnson - i hope that helped a little bit?  kerone - that is unfortunate that you were denied a visa for this summer, but you can always apply again next year when you'll be a student again.  good luck everyone!

I wanted to work in the USA at Camp in the summer but my visa was denied because i am currently not in school, i graduated in December with an Associate and i am continuing my studies in September i wanted to start January but my program do not accept applicants in January i am so sad

hi i'm Johnson from China, I have a question if i want to work in USA during my summer vacation do I have to find employee via a agency and pay that high fee or i just need to find a employee? I want to make the cost as low as possible(better no cost and ern a little bit at the end) .

Hello i am daniela, i am from moldova and i am a participant of Summer Work and Travel Program. My question is.. if i can pass the embassy if i have 2 historical arrears..from my first year..now i'm in the second year of studying...and i can reimburs the arrears only in my last year of studying, acording to the rules of my univerity..thank you!

Hi I am shandana. I am fro Pakistan. Ia m a Sociology major. I am a regular student at international Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan. Right now I am an exchange student at Kansas State University, America. I wnat to persue my degree here. I would be glad to work here so that I will eb able to pay for my college here.

It's been a pleasure to communicate with all these members who are really concerned about expanding their knowledge and experiences. I'm studying Mechatronics Engineering in Cairo " Robotics " and I would like to have a summer training in the states !! what do you  recommend me to do for further inquiries ? I'm Egyptian and I'm 20 years old.

Hey Walene,

You need to find a sponsor who is willing to provide you with a DS-2019 form. It looks like there is only one such sponsor for foreign medical students. Check out the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. They are a sponsor that you can reach by telephone: 1 215 823 2121. Hope that helps!
