but of course you can submit the app once you have the parent statement because your recommender mails the recommendation directly ;-)

@Brian: Of course I learned a lot on the trip :p I basically could skip two levels at my school, but the program there is so knew we don't have a level four yet :p

Agh...I want to do that senior year away too TT_TT
I have this feeling like it isn't going to happen, lol.

arabic is the one language that i would REALLY love to learn. i think it's the most useful in today's society. hearing that it is NOT a radical islamist society from you really makes a difference in my country decisions. i would rather hear it from someone who has been there then read it in a book. safety is my parent's main concern. so would you say it's a safe country to go to?

I am aiming for a year program also. I feel that will give me the most time to learn more of the language and culture. Those are some cool school choices.

i am almost done. i just need my mom to finish writing the parent statement.

here are my preferences:
1) Chinese
2) Arabic
3) Russian
4) Korean
5) Hindi
6) Farsi
7) Turkish

i mostly put the programs that had year-options first.
