i still need to mail all my stuff and force my mom to write my parent letter thing...AH. plus, I'm taking my license test and applying for a passport this week :) also, i have four huge tests this week...so...yea, definitely busy! but thinking about NSLI-Y ALLLL the time and wishing time would speed up :)

I have school plus midterms coming up and for fun I've been playing the video game Skyrim that came out Friday :)

I have school during the day to keep me busy and other little things. I too still need to mail my stuff off and get my mother to do the parent thing. But every few afternoons or so, I get like obsessed and reread everything about the program :)

Just stay totally immersed in school. I promise you, if you're studying hard, there won't be any leftover mental space for getting anxious. If your classes aren't tough enough, start volunteering! As for me, I've been working on a lot of art. Nothing like painting to clear the mind.

Me too! I'm praying everyday...even in class...I quietly pray to myself...(T_T creepy I know...but I want to go so bad!) I'm scared...I worked really hard just to have my parents say yes...good luck to you guys!

Volunteering is definitely keeping me busy while waiting.  I had to be at my school at 7 in the morning to decorate the gym for the Veterans Day Program.  I also had to serve the veterans lunch too, and not too long ago I had to help with Trick-or-Treat at the Park with Kiwanis.  :)  I also had test in every subject last week which include the two AP Unit exams(US History+English).  It feels like time has been flying to me this year.  I can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving!!!!

Same here(about time flying lol)! Oh you're in AP English and APUSH too? I took my exams before Halloween though (well just for APUSH. My English teacher decided we didn't  need a quarter exam).

Lucky!  The AP English exam was all over poems that we have covered in the past two weeks along with all the transcendentalists writers we covered all during October.  Some of the poems weren't on the syllabus the teacher handed us.  I almost died when I saw the questions on the test.  I used to adore Whitman and Dickinson, but after that test I have a new found hatred of these great poets.  Thankfully she adjusted the grades after my class and I explained about the test questions.  :)

Right?! Gosh and APUSH is soo not my subject either...I'm more of a math person
