unfortunately, we have been made to contend with our leaders treating us like illetrates, and we have all returned to our shells, watching and doing absolutely nothing about it. It saddens me that when our journalist ask question, they say, how much did you spend in building road? Is it his money, Is that a question? Is he not supposed to construct road with the tax payers money? Aren't we all tired the the same old s!@#t?

Hi Saadatu, you I also hated the fact that he dodged the important topics that is bugging every right thinking Nigerian, and I hope there is a quick change in the matter before it becomes too late!!!

Hi Kenneth, i am very passionate about Nigeria, as much as a lot of things don't go down so well, i believe we have an opportunity to start something to try and make a difference.

I was very sadden with the President's Independence broadcast because it shaded less light on an already glum situation. He said absolutely nothing. There was no motivation in his speech. It just sounded business as usually, say something for the sake of saying it.

Hello Saadatu,

Your comment on the Nigeria page is quite striking.  Sorry that i personally was unable to make any comment on the day of the Nigerian 51st independent eventhough i did make comments before then.  I have been out of touch of the internet as i traveled out of town and hadn't any access to the net.

It is indeed quite unpatriotic that out of the over 35members of this group, no one was able to leave a comment/share their views on Nigerian 51st independent anniversary.

Well i hope your e-mail will serve as a wake up call to all members to begin to display some patriotic roles as Nigerian as most Importantly as members of this platform, because i believe every member of this platform should be patriotic and change driven.

lets keep the flag flying.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIGERIAN IN ARREARS. THIS COUNTRY IS A GREAT NATION WITH GREAT MINDS.

Hello Nigerian Exchange Connect members,

It is yet another time of reflection as Nigerian youth to xray Nigeria's past and present state over the last 51 years of independence.

As Nigeria clocks 51years of age by 1st October 2011, i have not doubt that the expectations of Nigerian youth continues to grow high.

As Nigerian youth in this platform, let's share our thoughts and what our expectations from this great nation are.

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS AND EXPECTATIONS FROM NIGERIA IN THIS NEW PHASE.

Make a contribution or a writeup on the topic:

THE NIGERIAN OF MY DREAM and let us share these thoughts as youth and members of this great nation.

Remember, a lot is expected of all of us in contributing to the success of this great nation.

Your voice might make that difference!.
