Critical Language Scholarship Program alumna Emily Jenkins was quoted in a recent press release. She said, "“Studying in Indonesia on the CLS Program was an excellent opportunity. My language skills have blossomed, I developed a network of friends and colleagues in Indonesia, and there were cross-cultural exchanges between me and the Indonesians I met. Learning while being in the country provided a unique experience to constantly practice the language and ‘live’ the culture.” Read the full release here: http://clscholarship.org/2011-11-14-PressRelease.htm

Hi there,
Glad to catch you here.
I am an Indonesian teacher. I teach at some school in rural areas.
One of these school is SMP Terbuka Mandiri Al Fajri
This school is to give access to unfortunate children: street children, child labor, waste collector, and many more.
Attached is one of students' activity. They were practicing "life skill for a better life".
Cheers
Uli
