I wrote two blogs for my semester and summer study abroad

If you're thinking of creating a blog, I recommend blogspot.com. It's a stable host (doesn't tell you one day that it's gonna close down). There are alot of features and you can change your url name anytime you want. Blogging is like writing an online journal. I think it's a great way to keep memories of your study abroad experience. You can also share your thoughts and experience with others. I wish I could update my blog more frequently during my stay but was only able to do so during the first few days before school started. But I would blame the infrequent access to the internet for that.

Please post here if you have a blog.

All the best,

Buket.

Thank you everyone for replying! I'm sorry for the replying so late. I was writing the last chapter of my thesis and busy preparing for the defense (which I had just 3 hours ago - and to tell you the good news I have successfully defended my thesis).

@Buket: Thank you for replying on my Kansai Gaidai blog. I will definitely check out your blog. At a glance I think it looks great. Keep up the great posts :)

Congratulations!! That's great news, thanks for sharing. So proud of all of your hard work, and happy to see that you still make time to connect with us here.

My friend wrote this blog about her semester in Cairo:

Thanks for sharing, Yuriy. I'll be sure to check it out :)

Both my daughter and I wrote blogs while in India last year.  Unfortunately, we slowed way down when we had no internet.  Here's a link to mine:

There is a link in the upper right to my daughter's blog.

Thanks for the link, Margaret!
Hey everyone - here's another great blog that was recommended by the folks over with the Gilman Scholarship: http://ireneindeutschland.tumblr.com/

It's by Irene, an undergrad who is spending the summer in Berlin. I think it's neat that it's a Tumblr blog instead of the usual Blogspot that you see. Gives it a very different aesthetic.
Tumblr is indeed getting more attention lately! Thanks for the link!
