To add to Gayane's great reply, I wanted to suggest that you use the program search tool on Exchanges.state.gov to find a program that is best suited to your needs.
You may want to contact your Regional Educational Advisor in Egypt to help you identify other programs and study abroad opportunities that may be applicable to you. Lastly, you should also contact the U.S. Embassy in Egypt to see if they know of any additional programs or opportunities to which you may be able to apply.
Good luck!

Hello Gayane, I was about to ask above same question, then something prompt me to check replies for above. Unfortunately the first answer read from you was "you cannot enroll in the program, as it is for selected countries only" This leads to my question, which countries are selected for such program.
Secondly where can one find information regarding enrolling on such program, eligibility and selection criteria.
Trusting to hearing from you soon.
Felix
Hello Felix- the FLEX program is for students from countries from the former Soviet Union. It is a special program the US government pays for as a way to help Americans and youth from those countries learn from each other. Unfortunately, there is not a comparable program (where all expenses are paid) for other countries.

Dear Felix, as Margo said too, the FLEX program is for former Soviet Union countries. I don't know a program for your country, but you could look around in the groups and ask the other community leaders... good luck!

To learn more about applying for the program you can visit the official website for program requirements. That has links to more information, as well as a calendar for the application process, which picks up in the fall!
Hope this helps!

To apply for YES in Egypt, you need to visit AFS's website and ask them for information about the YES competition. This is the link: http://www.afs-egypt.org/
