The ELF Program sends highly qualified U.S. educators in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) on ten-month fellowships to academic institutions in all regions of the world.

Eligibility Requirements

U.S. citizenship
Master’s degree with a focus on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
Minimum of two years of professional experience in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
Teacher training preferred

ELF sponsored by the Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs in the U.S. Department of State.

ELF is administered by Georgetown University’s Center for Intercultural Education and Development.

The Fellowship can be a spring board/stepping stone to a great career path.
