Do you think technology is changing the way artists communicate and make connections?
Just read the most fascinating blog post by Joe Ravo of the Johnny Rodgers Band, writing from the group's current stop in Bahrain about creating "connections between people through both music and technology" - http://myjrb.blogspot.com/2011/10/many-to-many.html Beautiful thoughts on the importance of connecting with others, and some practical ideas for those who might want to blog from the road themselves.
What advice would you have for artists trying to share their work and experiences with others online?

More and more, people's first impression of an artist comes from what they find through a Google search, not from going to a live performance, art exhibit, poetry reading, etc.
YouTube has provided a way for anyone to get "discovered" (Justin Bieber! Rebecca Black!).
