@Kacy, good read, That reminds me of an article I read a couple years back on getting your bank to cancel your ATM fees when you're abroad:

I am in no way a financial professional and my views don't reflect those of any other organization... but from experience, I recommend that you call your bank before you leave and ask them very cordially if it can waive your ATM fees or foreign transaction fees (especially if you're going to be in a country where they don't have your bank). It's worked for me several times in the past and it helps you save a little cash for yourself.

Happy National Foreign Language Week everyone! We encourage you to take some time before the 13th and find a way to reach out in your CLS language. This could include preparing some traditional food of your host country, teaching someone 5 words in your target language, writing or calling your host family or friends on Skype, reaching out to local education organizations and talking about your CLS experiences, or looking for events at local cultural organizations associated with your target language. How will you use your foreign language skills this week?
