@michelle, I called an AFS rep when I hadn't heard by the expected date for my region. The CBYX rep said the first week of april for everyone. Good luck!

For the people that became actual finalists, they recieved a phone call followed by an email. For rejections or alternate notifications, we just recieved an email! Good luck to you guys!! :)

Hey Hopefuls! I am currently in Germany with CBYX AFS and we heard around around the 8th of April. I got an email and I am pretty sure they call too. Stay in there with the waiting. I know how awful it is, but trust me it all pays off when you get here :)

Congrats Allie! Mckenzie, an adviser from AFS said they would release the CBYX results by the first week of April through a phone call. Good luck!

Hey Allie congratulations! I apied through AFS and haven't heard back yet (obviously you applied through a different geographical branch). I'm super nervous and can't wait to hear back. I was wondering how your organization contacted you. Was it by e-mail, letter, carrier pigeon...ok, that was a pretty lame joke haha. Anyway, I can't wait to hear back. I would totally appreciate it if you could let me know. Thanks!
