And please tell me, I am not the only one who went into full blast creeper mode on youtube, and watched every cbyx intro video I could find..and on facebook (oh hey guys add me! Allie Campbell) i'm part of three different cbyx groups... It's consuming my life!! Ahh! It'll all be worth it in the end though!!

Hey Allie we talked before :) I am from MD. I am soooooooo excited, to even apply! haha I can't wait! So anywho, Hey guys I am Gillian Craig. I am 14 turning 15 this month. I have a brother and a sister. I am trying to learn German, and I love the language!!! I am still fuzzy on CBYX and what the whole process is, so if anyone wants to enlighten me please do! hahaha so yea I am on facebook also so feel free to friend me haha bye bye :)
Hey! Yeah I remember you, nice talking to you again!! And I could tell you more about CBYX, just add me on facebook!! (i would add you, but i'm on my phone..and have no idea how to add people from it :o!!)

Hi Gillian! I'm Sarabeth Sandweiss and am from TX! I'm applying through AYUSA, and the application has been out for a while, so I have already started. I am also turning 15, next month, and just wanted to say hi!, because I felt like the only 'younger' high schooler applying. I called my program a few weeks ago just to ask a few questions. They told me that for AYUSA only had around 110 people apply for the scholarship last year! Which means I have close to a 50% chance, you should call and ask whichever program your at! AFS is really helpful! I know because where hosting a german student through them!

Also if you visit the AFS website this link I posted are statements from prior exchange students (not necessarily CBYX but still German)!

Good Luck and I hope you get the scholarship,

Hopefully we'll meet at Orientation!

Hey I'm Payton. Trust me your not alone on watching every CBYX youtube video cause this is like my third time doing that this month ! And i really must say I'm stress and the application hasn't even come out yet!

Feel free to add me on facebook (Payton Hamilton) or email payham13@gmail.com ! c:

What region are you in Payton? Nice to meet you btw!! :) AFS application is already available...the others don't come out until mid September, early October. :( i'm stressing too, no worries! And what a relief, i'm glad i'm not the only one doing that, watching them just help me understand the whole thing better C:
I'm in the North East Region (I live in NY). When i saw the regular AFS programs application was out i was like so angry because i just want to get it over with. Even though I'm a little glad that it's not so soon because i have to change most of my classes to get credit if i go away and figure out what i'm going to be doing about missing SATs my junior year. And it gives me time to make my mom let me go ! So i guess there are the plus sides to having it out late ~
Hey where did you find AFS's application for CBYX??
Thank you!

I started to apply thanks to u!!! :D

how did you find this?
